Mr. Smith (Sarah Palin?) Goes To Washington

Thanks to Pamela Geller for posting this wonderful movie on her website. It just goes to show you how, even in the 30’s, the media could be controlled, as it has been mudslinging Sarah Palin, perhaps being similar to Mr. Smith, in being a tad naive. I thought I would just pass it along to the readers here. it’s a great Jimmy Stewart movie.
Jim Hoff reported yesterday that Governor Palin’s attorney, Thomas Van Flein, has threatened to sue leftist bloggers and the “state run media” for slandering her. this is part of the statement released 7/04/09: “we will be exploring legal options this week to address such defamation. This is to provide notice to Ms. Moore, and those who re-publish the defamation, such as Huffington Post, MSNBC, the New York Times and The Washington Post, that the Palins will not allow them to propagate defamatory material without answering to this in a court of law.”
According to Anchorgae Daily News, the FBI took the unusual step of issuing a statement that the Governor is not under any federal investigation, as has been rumored by the left-wing media.
